The Leftovers began somewhere else entirely.

It started with a book — a story written out of grief, memory and things that were difficult to leave behind. Somewhere along the way, a fictional band appeared in the pages.

Then came the question:

What would they actually sound like?

One song became another. The characters developed voices. The book slowly stopped.

The band didn’t.

Today, The Leftovers is an independent music and storytelling project from Sweden — built from songs, characters, memories, bad ideas, good accidents and a stubborn belief that feeling matters more than perfection.
